Terence Trout - tailored chic

Stephen Williams creator of the Terence Trout label has an impressive track record in gentlemen's tailoring that has taken in Savile Row and a stint wearing the glad rags in front of the camera as a male model.

Amusingly Stephen once crossed paths with an immaculately dressed client called Terence Trout and the seed was sewn. Stephen has also built a loyal private following with big support from the sporting fraternity - stand up West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur as well as the obligatory A- list celebs.

The next step had to be his own flagship store which duly opened in october 2009. On inspection Terence Trout would be a fish out of water in the more classic, traditional environs of Savile Row. Stephen has opted rather wisely to locate in Mayfair's Grosvenor Street off Avery Row - a stone's throw away from fashionable South Molton Street. It's a better fit.

There's some real flair and personal style in Stephen's tailoring. The exquisite detail, modern cut and finish although understated really catch the eye. His more conservative offerings however don't sit well and somewhat undermine his signature pieces.

Terence Trout is now in the process of creating a women's range.
