New Year's Eve - Moulin Rouge

Paris may have become the “Capital of Sleep” but the Brompton Quarter Brasserie is bringing the true essence of the French capital to the heart of London this New Year’s Eve with their Moulin Rouge extravaganza.

The contemporary Knightsbridge restaurant will transport party revellers to a scene of late 19th Century decadence for one night only as they say farewell to 2009 on the 31st December 2009 from 9pm to 3am.

Guests will be treated to a seven course dinner, to include 1 cocktail on arrival, 1/2 a bottle of wine during dinner and a glass of champagne at midnight to see in the New Year in style.

The Menu

Selection of Amuse-Bouche

Layered Crab and Avocado in classic Marie-Rose sauce on a bed of mixed leaves

Carpaccio of Dried Age Beef Fillet with dressed rocket & shaved Grana Padano

Smoked Haddock & Crème Fraiche Risotto with Wilted Spinach

Pan Fried Seabass with fennel puree and new potato crush, capers, parsley & lemon zest

Gressingham Duck Breast with celeriac puree, wild mushrooms and segmented orange jus

Dessert Selection including Home-Made Ice Creams & Sorbets

This sumptuous feast will be followed by dancing and a bar downstairs, where 2010 will be welcomed in to the sounds of a DJ from Sliding Vinyl.

Girls will be expected to dress up a la Kidman in exotic outfits of corsets and petticoats, with feathers, fans and satin gloves.

Boys should channel their inner Ewan McGregor with suits, bowties and top hats, and maybe even a handlebar moustache!
