Always one to try something once (!) I was slightly sceptical of an anti-age treatment with no needles, no pain and takes under 20 minutes! Being a woman of the world with friends who have been seduced by botox, I presumed it was definitely a case of no pain, no gain in the competitive world of eternal youth!

But after my visit to Dr Eccles at the Chiron Clinic on Harley Street, I was pleasantly surprised… The waiting room was calm and I wasn’t overwhelmed with pictures of airbrushed perfection, so I could dwell on my own laughter lines and ponder what would happen with non invasive therapy; As I was led through to the consulting room, I became more at ease as I was given a thorough run down of the machine and what it could do. The treatment is also known as no needle Mesotherapy is revolutionary for the UK but is well established in Italy and America.

I had the choice of being treated for AgeDefi fat loss, cellulite or skin regeneration, all of which use the same principle of opening the pores with a special blend of ingredients which are rollered onto the skin and then the pen is applied which pulsates over the skin and pushes the combination of stimulants in. The principal being, that it opens the pores up for approximately 20 seconds- which is long enough to zap in the required natural substances underneath the skin and it has a major benefit of no signs of treatment as there is no bruising or swelling and you can go back for another treatment 48 hours later.

The sensation was actually rather pleasant as the nurse gently massaged the area and the electrical currents were just a far-away tingle.
And after twenty minutes it was all over and I looked like a new woman!
Admittedly I didn’t really have too many wrinkles in the first place- I do like the sun and have laughter lines and these were still there, but I was glowing! My skin definitely looked rejuvenated and as I headed off down Oxford Street, I definitely felt more confident and couldn’t stop grinning!

Having had the opportunity to question Dr Eccles about the whole process, I can completely see how easy it would be to get hooked, as the results were instantaneous. He showed me a video of the Anti Age Fat loss treatment that had hit the news in the States – where a client had lost 4 inches of stubborn fat around her tummy after just three sessions!  It is perfect for someone who is active but has the extra love handles that come with age and wishes that it could just melt away… and to be able to see results in just 3 twenty minutes sessions with no pain is in my books, pretty impressive! And after the ideal 10-12, who knows what transformations could occur!
